Mediheal Madecassoside Moisture Sun Serum ingredients: the US version is a different formula from the Korean one
The Mediheal Madecassoside Moisture Sun Serum sold in the US lists four active ingredients on its FDA label: ensulizole 2.5%, homosalate 5%, octisalate 4.5% and octocrylene 5%. The carton calls it Broad Spectrum SPF 50+, in a 1.69 fl oz (50 mL) tube. The label makes no water resistance claim; its directions say "Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating."
The version sold in Korea is a different formula. Its ingredient list on Mediheal's Korean store includes octocrylene but none of the other three. Instead it lists ethylhexyl triazone, bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine (bemotrizinol) and terephthalylidene dicamphor sulfonic acid (ecamsule).
In the US the serum costs $16.50 at Mediheal's US store, Ulta and Amazon, which works out to $9.76 per fl oz. Olive Young US charges $20.00. Ulta and Olive Young US both show $22.00 as the regular price.

The Korean version is a different formula
Mediheal's Korean store sells a 50 g tube that English-language retailers call the Madecassoside Moisture Sun Serum Blemish Repair. Korean cosmetics law requires the full ingredient list, and the store shows 65 ingredients. We checked it for every active ingredient on the US label, and for the filters it has that the US label does not.

Bemotrizinol is the ingredient our bemotrizinol tracker follows on the FDA register; in the US, only DSM and its licensees may sell a bemotrizinol sunscreen until February 2028, as our exclusivity page explains. Both versions name the same makers. The US carton says it is manufactured by COSMAX, Inc. in Korea, and the Korean store names COSMAX as the manufacturer and L&P Cosmetic as the company responsible for selling it.
To tell them apart: the US tube has a Drug Facts panel with the four active ingredients above and gives its size as 1.69 fl oz (50 mL). Mediheal's Korean store gives the Korean version's size as 50 g, and its ingredient list begins with water, dibutyl adipate, propanediol, butyloctyl salicylate and ethylhexyl triazone.
The FDA listing
- NDC 74005-002, "Mediheal Madecassoside Moisture Sun Serum". The listing starts May 1, 2026.
- It covers two packages: a 50 mL container in a box (74005-002-01) and a 15 mL container in a box (74005-002-02).
- The label on DailyMed is version 3, effective May 10, 2026. Its package artwork shows a single 50 mL carton, a carton of two 50 mL tubes, and a carton of two 50 mL tubes with a 15 mL tube.
- The listing's labeler field shows only the number 74005. The carton names COSMAX, Inc. as the manufacturer, and L&P Cosmetic Co., Ltd. in Seoul and AIDI LLC in Huntington Beach, California as distributors.

What we could not confirm
- Which formula the Amazon listing ships. Its page shows no ingredient list in text; the seller is Mediheal Cos and the size is 1.69 fl oz.
- Whether the 15 mL size is sold on its own in the US. We found it only in the FDA listing and in the artwork for a set.
- When the serum first went on sale in the US. An FDA listing date is not a sale date.
- The percentages in the Korean version. The Korean list gives none.
- What the stores charge at checkout, with tax and shipping. We did not add anything to a cart.
