Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 60 with BEMT is on sale at Amazon: 6% bemotrizinol and the same four filters as Ultra Sheer SPF 70
Updated October 1, 2026: it is on sale. Kenvue, which owns Neutrogena, announced on September 17, 2026 that this sunscreen and its sister Ultra Sheer Daily Face SPF 70 "are now available on amazon.com and will be available at retailers nationwide soon". The same announcement says the products "will be available on amazon.com at launch, followed by retailers nationwide in October".
Neutrogena sells it as Clear Face Sunscreen Acne-Prone Skin Broad Spectrum SPF 60 with BEMT, part of a line it calls Cloud-Tech. BEMT is the brand's short name for bemotrizinol, the filter the FDA permitted in June 2026. The label filed with the FDA lists it at 6%, the maximum the FDA order allows, alongside avobenzone 3%, homosalate 15% and octisalate 5%. Neutrogena aims this one at acne-prone skin.

Where we found it on October 1, 2026
- Amazon - listed with Amazon.com shown as the seller. The UPC on the listing, 086800163749, matches the one on Neutrogena's own product page.
- Neutrogena's product page - Neutrogena does not sell it directly. The page's Where to Buy button lists Amazon.com only.
- Walmart - Neutrogena's Where to Buy does not list Walmart for this product, and a walmart.com search did not return it.
- Target - a target.com search did not return it.

What the filing says
The label lists four active ingredients: avobenzone at 30 mg per mL, bemotrizinol at 60 mg per mL, homosalate at 150 mg per mL and octisalate at 50 mg per mL. That is 3%, 6%, 15% and 5%. The 6% is the highest concentration of bemotrizinol the FDA order permits.
Two pack sizes are filed: a 40 mL bottle and a 14 mL tube, the tube in trays of twelve. A tray of twelve small tubes usually means a trial or sampling pack rather than a shelf item. We only found the 40 mL bottle for sale.
The same filters, a different SPF
Kenvue filed two bemotrizinol sunscreens on the same day, and the two labels list identical active ingredients at identical strengths. This one is labelled SPF 60; Ultra Sheer Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 70 with BEMT carries the other SPF. SPF is measured on the finished formula, so the inactive ingredients and the way the product is made can move the number even when the filters match. Both were reported at the same $16.99 retail price for 40 mL. Kenvue has not published an explanation of the SPF difference.
How the launch unfolded
- August 13, 2026 - Kenvue files the label with the FDA. DailyMed publishes it on August 17.
- September 2 and 3, 2026 - not in Neutrogena's sun care listing of 49 products, and not in an Amazon search for the product name.
- September 17, 2026 - Kenvue announces the launch on amazon.com.
- October 1, 2026 - on Amazon, with Amazon.com as the seller. Not returned by walmart.com or target.com searches.
Not to be confused with
Neutrogena already sells Clear Face Liquid Lotion SPF 30 and SPF 50 and a Clear Face Serum SPF 60 with green tea. Those are different formulas and do not contain bemotrizinol. The product on this page has with BEMT in its name, and Kenvue says to look for the Cloud-Tech logo on the front of the label.
What we could not confirm
- When Walmart, Target, CVS or Ulta will carry it. Kenvue gives October for retailers nationwide, with no date for any one store.
- Whether the 14 mL tube in the filing will be sold on its own.
- Why the SPF differs from the sister product when the filters are identical.
- Shipping cost. We did not place an order.
