Stream2Sea SPF 50 Sunstick, Sport Lip Balm SPF 50 and EcoStick SPF 40: three zinc oxide sunscreens filed with the FDA in 2026 that are not in the store yet
Stream2Sea listed three new sunscreens with the FDA between May and August 2026: an SPF 50 Sunstick, a Sport Lip Balm SPF 50 and EcoStick SPF 40. Each label lists a single active ingredient, zinc oxide 20%.
On September 15, 2026, none of the three was in Stream2Sea's US store, and the store's search did not bring up any of them for "SPF 50", "Sport Lip Balm" or "EcoStick". In the same store, the SPF 30+ Sun Protect Lip Balms and two of the three EcoStick SPF 35+ sticks were shown as unavailable.
We report what the labels, the FDA listings and the store say. We do not describe what any filter does, and we do not guess when the new products will go on sale.

Sunstick SPF 50
The carton calls it Sunstick, for face and body, broad spectrum SPF 50, net weight 1.06 oz (30 g). Its only active ingredient is zinc oxide 20%.
The zinc sunscreen Stream2Sea sells now is the SPF 40 Reef Safer Mineral Sunscreen, a balm in a 2.8 oz (80 g) tin whose label also lists zinc oxide 20%. It was $24.95 and shown as available on September 15. The labels do not explain how the SPF 50 stick and the SPF 40 balm differ, and we do not guess.
Sport Lip Balm SPF 50
The Sport Lip Balm SPF 50 is filed in three flavors, Naturally Naked, Cucumber Mint and Cherry Vanilla, each 0.15 oz (4 g). Its only active ingredient is zinc oxide 20%.
The lip balm with SPF in Stream2Sea's store is the Sun Protect Lip Balm SPF 30+, in the same three flavors and the same 0.15 oz (4 g) size. Its label lists zinc oxide 6% and titanium dioxide 7%. On September 15 all three flavors, at $5.99 each, and the $12.95 three-pack were shown as unavailable.
EcoStick SPF 40
EcoStick SPF 40 is filed in three versions, Sport, Kids and Tint. Each label reads broad spectrum SPF 40, water resistant 80 minutes, net weight 0.5 oz (14 g), with zinc oxide 20% as the only active ingredient. The Kids label lists chamomile and calendula extracts among its inactive ingredients, and the Tint label lists iron oxides.
The EcoStick in the store today is SPF 35+, and its label lists titanium dioxide 7% and zinc oxide 6%. On September 15 the store showed EcoStick Sunscreen Sport ($14.95) as available, and EcoStick Tinted Sunscreen and EcoStick Sunscreen For Kids ($14.95 each) as unavailable.

A filing is not a launch. A company can list a product with the FDA before it sells it, and some listed products are never sold. We found no sale date or price for the Sunstick SPF 50, the Sport Lip Balm SPF 50 or EcoStick SPF 40 in Stream2Sea's store, and we do not guess whether they will join or take the place of the products now shown as unavailable.
Looking them up in the FDA directory
If you check these products yourself - as our guide to checking a sunscreen suggests - the names in the FDA's National Drug Code Directory are not the names on the packs. EcoStick SPF 40 is listed as "Stream2Sea Ecostock SPF 40 Sunscreen", NDC 69555-401, and the Sunstick is listed as "Stream2Sea SPF 50", NDC 69555-050. The Sport Lip Balm is NDC 69555-500. Searching by NDC finds each one directly.

- The net weight on the EcoStick Tinted and Kids SPF 35+ cartons. We read the Sport carton.
